Locally stored preference
Besides these cookies, the site stores your chosen colour theme (light or dark) under the key theme in your browser’s localStorage when you use the theme toggle. The value never leaves your browser, contains no identifier and is not used for tracking; it is stored solely to honour the display preference you selected (§ 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG). You can remove it at any time by clearing the site’s browser data.
There are no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, and no localStorage-based tracking. If that ever changes, this notice and a consent mechanism will be introduced first.
